Welcome to Type R Ministries – Founded in 2017, we are a non-denominational nonprofit dedicated to being a safe place for all people, inspiring faith to grow. What began as an outreach to those in addiction recovery has grown into a broader mission of walking alongside individuals healing from all forms of trauma, including religious-related experiences. From our roots in Mount Gilead, Ohio, to outreach in New York City, Berlin, and Portugal, we’ve helped hundreds connect to life-changing resources, provided compassionate peer support, and reached thousands through events and partnerships. At Type R Ministries, everyone’s journey matters, and we’re here to help you find hope, belonging, and the next step forward.
